Private Vows Among the Mountains: Jacquelyn and Christopher's Adirondack Wedding

The serene beauty of the Adirondack Mountains set the stage for a love story that came to life on Friday the 13th, September, 2024, as Jacquelyn and Christopher exchanged sacred vows in the midst of nature's grandeur. No bad luck was to be had here as their wedding day was as beautiful as the nature that surrounded them.



Exchange Vows at the Scenic Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort

The crisp mountain air carried whispers of anticipation as guests gathered to witness a union that promised to blend romance with the majesty of the great outdoors. Surrounded by towering pines and the gentle waves of Mirror Lake, Jacquelyn and Christopher said "I Do" right by the water at the Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort's outdoor ceremony space.


Let's Take a Ride for a Perfect Intimate Moment

As guests headed to the Boathouse for cocktail hour, Jacquelyn and Christopher made their escape to have a private moment together as Mr. and Mrs. while taking a Gondola ride through the waters of Mirror Lake. They could enjoy their signature drinks and some appetizers while reflecting on their ceremony before being pulled away by excited friends and family anxiously awaiting to congratulate the couple. Truly, a special moment the two of them will never forget.



A Signature Touch Through Stationery

One way to add Christopher and Jacquelyn's signature and personal touch into their wedding day was through their stationery. Their love for the mountains and for their pets: Dolly the Pitbull and Cleopatra the Guinea Pig. Jackie first said yes to Chris in these very mountains as their proposal happened at the summit of Haystack Mt, one of the Saranac Six Mountains. The two of them come up to these mountains with Dolly time after time.




It's All in the Details

Jackie let her beautiful curls take the stage as she opted for no veil, but with a few flowers tucked between her curls. Her mother surprised her with custom bedazzled Nike Air Force 1s so that Jackie could be comfortable all day long. Meanwhile, Chris had a few personal details up his sleeves including socks from the Miracle on Ice that took place right in Lake Placid, NY years before marrying the love of his life. Chris also sported a pocket watch and chain as well as a custom patch sewn on the inside of his custom tailored suit jacket commemorating their wedding day.



A Spread of Eurpean Desserts

The joining of two very large and very Italian families meant that the celebrations would last through the night! Guests were treated to an array of various European desserts from JoJo's Bakeshop and YeahBabyBakes. Such delicacies included macarons, Italian cookies, brownies, and mini cheesecakes. As guests enjoyed these desserts, they were met with a fun little surprise at sunset. Every Friday, Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort puts on a Fire Dance Show and three women danced with fire as the sun left the sky for the evening.
